Chilling out at Leinster WA

Leinster, pretty little town, here again all shops closed down, only supermarket is open, its also the Post Office. Lots of Bougainvillea's starting to bloom, reds, pinks, purple, white, orange. Love these yellow trumpets not sure what they are. A funny black and grey bird sat on the awning just looking at us.,

Leinster has approx 250 pop, at the moment, still lots of miners here, there's a Gold and Nickle. The Nickle mine opens and closes as the prices go up and down., there are also a few gold fossickers here. There is a buffet meal for $20 in the Miners Mess all welcome.

Chilling out here for three nights, they have free washing machines, so everything thats not nailed down has been washed., CP $20 per night, power n water, very clean, neat place.

Aaaaahhhhh fresh crisp sheets again, LOL

Met a lovely couple from Mornington Vic, Sue and John, towing "Pixie" it folds out at the front into a decking with veranda, quite cool, they've been on the road 6 months, Sue took my pic. John keeps us laughing.

I invented my own de flappers for my awning, no more flapping in the wind.

We decided to go for coffee in the town, the servo only had instant, The Tavern doesn't open till 12, so decided to get an iced coffee from supermarket, had to wait for it to open at 11.00am, went to Sharon's home, the only glasses she had were wine glasses, funny how you hold a wine glass differently to a normal one, coffee tasted weird in it. LOL

Went to the Mess Hall for dinner tonight ,OMG, it was fantastic, all you could eat ,curry goat, rice, fish, pasta, soup, vegies,  salads, sweets, soft drinks,  it was full of miners, male and female, I felt like I was in one of those big war ships, kept thinking the Captain was going to come in soon LOL,.

Had happy hour at Sue and Johns, Gary came over too, he showed us some gold that he had found, I was quite surprised how heavy it was., Gary smokes an E cigarette, I asked him was he trying to quit? He said no he already quit 2 years ago, LOL, Gary was a professional golf player, moved over to Singapore to teach golf, then decided to come back and go Gold detecting, he heads out for months at a time.
