Pt Sinclair, Blue Lake, Cactus Beach

Drove to Penong, having a latte, was advised to go to the Blue Lake, only 15ks unsurfaced road,
It was sooooo bad, we rattled n rolled for nearly an hour. The end result was spectacular.

Stunning Meringue Sand Dunes, gorgeous Blue Lake, little oyster catchers flying around, The road went straight across the lake. We found a camp site, $15 per night, our own toilets, and fire pit., really clean.

We had a picnic lunch on the bench, a few surfers came up and started to talk, we were chuffed, they told us that two fins were steadier., and paddles were good to keep you up right.

One chap told us how he nearly drowned yesterday. His ankle strap came loose, his board floated away, he grabbed the shark zappers by mistake, he thought he was having a heart attack, lucky one of the paddlers came to his rescue.,

Met a gorgeous dog Bolto, loved to play fetch with me while his dad went for a surf.

Saw a small lizard

Sleeping with the top vents open, the sky is pitch black, the stars a diamonds.
